Women's Role in the American Revolution

During the American Revolution many women went to war with their men.

They participated by:

• Washing and cooking for the soldiers

• Following armies as they marched

• Producing goods for soldiers

• Delivering secret messages

• Fighting disguised as men

• Boycotting British goods
