Why Did The British Lose The American Revolution?

British Grenadier Attack

This picture shows the British Army in the Revolutionary War.
The British army in North America suffered from

a number of incapacitating weaknesses.

1) Their army wasn't large enough to occupy enough
square miles of territory in North America.

2) The lack of a workable recruitment system

3) The lack of proper training

4) The lack of an organised supply system.
There are long distance between America and Britain,
so  Britain had to maintain long supply lines
    back to the Mother Country.

5) The lack of number of cavalry and artillery

6) The American Spirit. It was very difficult to retain all thirteen colonies.
