A poor or
unreliable source
Summary:
What is it? (110 words)
This
source is Wikipedia and it tells us what the American Revolution is. This
source shows much general information about the American Revolution, for
example some acts like tea act, Summary and King George III. Also it has information
about three other participants which ware France, Spain, African and also
Native American. There are a picture and
maps to make it clearly to understand. There are a lot of bibliographies and it

Origin: Who produced it? Where is it from?
Wikipedia is
produced by many people, so I cannot say who produced it, but last time the
page modified on 7 May 2013 at 23:02.
Purpose: Why
was it written or produced?
I think this
was produced because the
people who wrote it wanted to tell the people about the American Revolution,
and think about it.
Value: What does the source tell us? Is it reliable?
The source tells us the general information of the
American Revolution. Revolution was a political change during the 18th century
(1775-83) with thirteen coloniesin North America and British. The United States
had been occupied by Nation Americans, so they fought to break from the British
Empire, combining to become the United States of America.
I think this source is not reliable, because anyone
with the internet access can contribute to write information in Wikipedia and
it is not reviewed by experts. The articles would edited by anyone and a person
may go on Wikipedia and post an article that is full of false information. So
when I use this source, I cared about it.
Limitations:
What doesn't it tell us? What else do
we need to know?
It did not tell us how that time people thinking about
the Revolution, and how they react in detail. Also there is not having
interesting facts. This source just written about what happened in the
Revolution, and how they react. So it was little bit bored documents.
